The National Capital Area Ham Radio Fair

The 39th annual Winterfest will
bring hams and equipment vendors together for a full day of fun on March 22, 2015! Several amateur
radio clubs will be on hand to provide information about the ham radio hobby,
getting started, where to find instructional help for earning the amateur radio
license and much, much more! Dealers in new and used communications equipment,
antennas, cabling, parts and supplies will also be on hand to help you find the

A donation of $7.00 covers adult admission. Kids of high school age or younger
will be admitted free when acompanied by an adult. College students with ID
will also be admitted free.

QSL Checking will be available on-site until 12 noon.
A large indoor exhibit space can accomodate over 100 vendors. And it's
inexpensive; an 8-foot table costs only $25. It's an opportunity to reach
customers in a region with many licensed amateur radio operators, and one that
has the highest per-capita income in the country. Several major cities are

Winterfest 2015 will feature an outdoor tailgate area with 150 paved tailgate
spaces. One space costs $15 and includes admission for one person.
Tailgate spaces will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Admission
for everyone, vendors and the general public, begins at 6 AM, Sunday, March
22, 2015. The college does not permit overnight parking prior to the event.
The indoor exhibit area (gymnasium) opens to the general public at 8 AM on
Sunday, March 22. Nobody will be allowed into the
exhibit area before 8 AM without a vendor pass.
