New Business.
Dennis Voegler, WA4QMS, announced badges have been created for all members paid through last year as well as Winterfest related badges.

Pete Norloff, KG4OJT, announced that all park permits for this year’s operation have been paid for.

ARISS is scheduled for March 2nd with the Virginia Run Elementary School. Downlink frequency is 145.800 and is scheduled for 10 minutes starting at 11:18 am. Search for ARISS on the web for more information.

John Transue, AF4PD, reported the new equipment from Midland Radio through the efforts of Tim Quinn, KI4PVF, (Thanks, Tim). The UHF consists of 2 transceivers w/Internal control board. The VHF repeater is operational as is but can be modified to use our controller. This modification is in progress. John will investigate the cost of the Service Manual and purchase if deemed appropriate after his research.

TJ needs a duplexer & Controller for their UHF donation from Midland. Donation needed!!!

Old Business.
All nets reported good activity.

Ray Johnson, K5RJ, reported the first batch of Quadricentennial awards have been printed by the QCWA.

Multiple Winterfest topics where discussed. 147.51 will be used as our event frequency. Dennis WA4QMS shall provide some beer coasters… Umm table leg supplements, to help heavy tables or tables missing foot pads from scaring the gym floor (Thanks Dennis).

Consignments vs. Donations where discussed. Consignments yield 10% towards the club. All where reminded to please remove unsold/unwanted items at the end of the event on Sunday.

The Anchorman (Mike Steussy, AE4R) provided a short video to complete the evening.
