It is a very popular event and attracts participants from around the world. Gordon described the rules for participation and the plaques and cetificates that are available to participants. In recent years the VQP has seen a steady growth in activity, and SPARC expects this trend to continue. Gordon showed several slides that described the degree of activity in the various operating categories, including coverage in the Commonwealth of Virginia and worldwide. Last year there were 4 particpants from VWS, and Gordon expects that number will increase this year. The VQP is a fun event and welcomes everyone to join in and submit a log in any format you desire.
