Jim W4JTP, our President, started the meeting with general comments then introductions around the room. There were 43 in attendance.

REPORTS

Dennis WA4QMS, our Winterfest Chairman, reported on Winterfest. Dennis, who retiring as Winterfest Czar, thanked all who helped out over the Winterfest weekend. Total paid tickets were 566. This is just below last years Winterfest. Great job by all.It was also reported that T-MARC will be back next year, as will the D-Star and MARS groups.

Bernie N4JDF, reported on the VA QSO Party, which will held March 21st and 22nd. More details to follow in the next couple of weeks. Stayed tuned to the NAQP reflector for news.

Jim AG4MA, reminded us about QRP to the field. This event is held the last weekend in April. Normal location will be the upper pavilion at Glyndon Park.

Bob, AJ4RS reminded members about upcoming public service events this spring.

Tom K4TCM, reminded us of the Foxhunt scheduled for May 9th. We will have both short range rabbits and long range foxes.

Pete, K5BFA conducted a silent action of the estate items that didn't sell at Winterfest.

The evenings program was by Ron, WA6YOU. Ron demonstrated how to build beam antennas using foam board. He also built a 446 j-pole antenna. And he ended the evening by showing how to solder a PL-259.

The meeting adjourned at 9:25 PM.
