VWS General Meeting
Vienna Elementary School

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by President Jim Parsons, W4JTP. Jim announced this was our last meeting at Vienna Elementary School until fall season. Our next meeting will be at the FD site.The next three meetings will be held at the Vienna Community Center.

Old Business
Len Hook, KG6ZR read the minutes of the last meetig; approved.
Pete Norloff, KG4OJT reports the Town of Vienna approved a donation of $550 to VWS.
New Business.
Dan Sullivan, KO1D reports VWS operation in the VHF/UHF Contest Sunday, June 9-11 at KF4PPF.
Also, the Tour de Cure needs operators: contact Willy, KC0GNH.
NVFMA will meet June 21 at "Four Provinces" restaurant to discuss Echolink.
Tom Martindale, K4TCM, set up two 300-mW "foxes' for RDFing tonight. The first person to discover them will win a prize.

Gary held a FD organizing discussion, including sign-up sheets for station captains, food preparation and clean-up, general set-up and tear-down, etc. Contact Gary to volunteer.
