Special Presentation.
Dr. Gene Zimmerman, W3ZZ, “Beyond the Repeater, A Whole New World You Never Knew Existed.”
Since 2002, Gene has been the VHF Editor for QST Magazine. First licensed in 1956 and an Amateur Extra since 1963, Gene has been a Past-President of PVRC, a member of the ARRL Contest Advisory Committee, and an avid DXer and Contester for 50 years.
Gene gave a wonderful, fact-filled presentation on VHF/UHF propagation, and many of the unusual phenomena that add excitement to operating above 50 MHz. Gene’s enthusiasm is infectious, as he has seen and done it all. If you missed this one, you missed a really good one.
